postcard series

Early 2019 I had just returned to Thailand and was re-settling back in. Times of transition are always a time of taking stock, which for me involves focused time with friends. This is a selection from the mixed media series of postcards that I sent to those friends. I created them using tube water colors and then enhanced with Prismacolor pencil on postcard stock. The colors were chosen to reflect the essence of the intended recipients. Turns out only about half of them arrived. But then that is the international post for you.
